Our warranty covers manufacturing defects or faults, and does not cover wear and tear, scratched lenses or damage caused by dropping them or rubbing up against objects.
Only use the cleaning cloth provided to clean the lenses as course material like work shirts or rags can directly scratch the lenses.
Lenses are scratch resistant, not scratch proof. Please take care.
The lenses have a scratch resistant coating and raised edges on the frames which helps them stay in better condition for longer. Plus you get a free hard case and protective pouch with every pair so they don't scratch in your tool bag when you're not using them.
DO NOT use anything other than the provided cleaning cloth to clean them ie. tshirt or rag.
Rubbing course materials or grit directly into the lens can cause significant damage to the lenses.
Banging your head on something, dropping them, or rubbing up against tools etc can cause scratches.

Yes, but removing them voids their safety rating.
The safety testing applies only to the product in its full, as-supplied configuration. If the removable side shields are taken off or modified, the product is no longer in its tested configuration and should not be relied upon as safety protection in that state.
Whose responsibility is it to wear the shields?
Please keep the side shields fitted whenever eye protection is required for your workplace or activity. If your worksite requires certified eye protection, check that the eyewear meets your site's specific compliance requirements.
How to remove the shields?
Simply slide the shield toward the front of the frame which disengages the lock, then pull down to remove. To re insert, push the safety shields up, and then slide towards the back of the arms to lock them back in.
Our safety glasses have been independently tested to AS/NZS 1337.1:2010 (medium impact) as a complete unit - frame, lenses and side shields together. Testing was carried out by NOVI, an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory (CNAS L22311). We are currently working toward formal StandardsMark certification for the range; until that's complete, we describe these as independently tested to the standard, not certified.

I live the frame and the lenses of these glasses i do like that they havent had a scratch on them yet and i work in construction and go through a pair of safeties every week almost. Reason for the 4 stair review is that i believe the side protection on the frame could be slightly bigger as i still get sparks from a grinder and concrete peices from drilling flicking up and getting through the sides. I hope this helps with you future designs
