A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER - SAM

I started this brand while I was full time on the tools as a plumber, chasing a dream to build something of my own. Something that actually meant something. Shade was never meant to be “just another sunnies brand.” It’s my way of creating high-quality gear that lasts, pushes back against plastic waste, and supports healthier oceans, the place that’s shaped so much of my life.

My goal is simple: build a brand that does good, makes people feel good, and eventually gives me the chance to hang up the tools and go all-in on something I’m truly passionate about. Every pair we create, every detail we refine, every small step forward, it all comes from that mission.

And honestly, none of this happens without you.
